Little Brothers and Littles Sisters enjoyed 2 wonderful days at Camp Norland. They enjoyed winter camping along with a group of Volunteers. The children and adults enjoyed some great games of tag in the large open field. Afternoon entertainment was offered by Rod Meilleur who entertained the children with his talent on the keyboard and great sing along songs. The evening story telling was held in the old lodge where we were warmed by a huge fireplace. The children all shared something about themselves and added a few stories and jokes. Back at the main lodge, the children gathered around the large screen T.V. and enjoyed a great movie and evening snacks.

When it came to bedtime, the children each found comfort in the spacious rooms which had 2 bunkbeds per room. With 4 children per room, lights were out by 11:00pm. The 2nd day was again filled with fun and laughter. One of our older teens, decided that he would have the kids chase him and the first to catch him would receive some gum as a prize. It was a wild race where he was tagged by 4 little brothers and had to give up all his gum.

This was a fun filled camping event where the children hope to return to Camp Norland in 2007.
