Incentive Prize Categories

 

We are very pleased that WestJet has renewed it’s partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada for 2009!  The partnership includes the use of 6 pairs of vouchers to be used for Bowl For Kids Sake (BFKS) incentive prizes.  These vouchers have a retail value of $4, 604.  Each prize voucher is for one return trip for two people to any scheduled WestJet destination (except charters).

 

Send these incentive prizes to your Team Captains and Bowlers.  If your agency is using online fundraising then here’s a great reason to send another correspondence to them.

 

The West Jet voucher incentive prize categories are being offered to all participants across Canada as follows:

 

1. Top Online Fundraiser

The person who raises the most money using online fundraising software (Kintera, Artez or other) for Bowl For Kids Sake receives:

Two West Jet airfare vouchers.  Estimated Retail Value:  $4, 604

(A minimum of $2,500.00 must be raised)

 

2. Draws For Funds Raised

For individuals who raise the following levels of funds, their name will go into a draw for:

 

i) $2,000.00 or more level draw wins:

Two West Jet airfare vouchers.  Estimated Retail Value:  $4, 604

(A minimum of $2,000.00 must be raised)

 

ii) $4,000.00 or more level draw wins:

Two West Jet airfare vouchers. Total Estimated Retail Value:  $4, 604

 (A minimum of $4,000.00 raised)

 

3. New Team Recruitment Draw

For the individual on a team who has recruited 4 or more teams their name will go into a draw for

Two West Jet airfare vouchers.  Estimated Retail Value:  $4, 604

 

4. Staff and Board Member Draw

Staff and Board members raising $1,000 or more your name will go into a draw for

Two West Jet airfare vouchers.  Estimated Retail Value:  $4, 604

 

5. Agency Draw

Agencies that increase their Bowl For Kids Sake campaigns in 2009 by 7 percent or more their name will go into a draw for

Two West Jet airfare vouchers.  Estimated Retail Value:  $4, 604

 

 

Instructions for entries:

Agencies please forward on separate sheetsfor each category your candidate’s first and last name, amounts raised or number of teams recruited and your agency name by email by May 11th, 2009 end of business day. Send the information to loverton@bbbsc.ca. The Agencies will be notified directly if their submission was drawn. Winners will also be posted on the BFKS Agency Support site.

 

Prize Rules and Restrictions:

Things the winner of this voucher will need to consider (prior to redeeming the gift of flight): 

 

      1)   Yes, free means free.  Pinch yourself because it's true!  This voucher covers all air

            travel fees, taxes and surcharges!

      2)   All gifts of flight are subject to availability at the time of booking.  Peak dates

such as statutory holidays and airline blackout periods (such as Christmas, Easter

and spring break etc.) are considered blackout periods and aren’t available for

gifts of flight.  Please see page 3 for blackout dates. Flights must be booked

within and no earlier than 14 days prior to departure.

      3)   Flights must return to the originating city (open jaw booking not permitted)

      4)  This prize is valid for travel until May 12, 2010. This prize isn’t valid for

redemption on WestJet Vacations’ packages or with WestJet charter partners.

      6)   Changes and extensions to the expiry date aren’t permitted.  Changes to travel

            dates or passenger names aren’t permitted once a booking has been confirmed.

      7)   The individual booking the flight must be over the age of majority in their

 province.

      8)   This prize must be taken as offered and is neither transferable nor redeemable for

            cash.

      9)   This prize cannot be sold.  In the event that it is, this certificate will become void.
