Potential Volunteer
- Calls office & sets up a date and time for an interview and orientation. Complete an application form.
- Volunteer is interviewed by the Caseworker in order to gather more information about the volunteer. The best way to make a successfull match is by having as much knowledge as possible about botth the volunteer and the Little.
- Attends a child safety program designed to help teach and reinforce child safety messages to our youth.
- Police check is requested, 3 confidential references are returned to the office.
- Reviews profiles of potential Little Sisters or Brothers in-office with the Caseworker
- Contacted to set match meeting date
| Little Sister/Brother & Parent/Guardian- Calls office & sets up a date and time for an interview and orientation. Complete an application form
- Attends a child safety program designed to teach children how to keep themselves safe and make safe choices in their day to day lives
- Parent/guardian and participating child are interviewed at home by the Caseworker
- Once a potential volunteer is found, the Caseworker will call the parent to discuss the profile of this volunteer. If the parent agrees then....
- A match meeting date is set

| | 8. | Match meeting with Little Sister/Little Brother, parent/guardian, Big Sister/Big Brother and Caseworker
| | 9. | Little Sister/Little Brother and Big Sister/Big Brother sign match contracts for a one year period
| | 10. | Then the match is official and the match can enjoy planning their outings together
| | 11. | Ongoing supervision with Little Sister/Little Brother, parent/guardian, Big Sister/Big Brother and Caseworker (mandatory telephone contacts, 4-month and yearly in-person reviews).
